I continued to work as a sole trader for some time before going into partnership with my brother In Law who is also a Carpenter in 1993/94 we traded as Griffiths & Hughes for a number of years before he decided to emigrate with his family to Australia. Excellence and Professionalism

I strive to carry out work to the best of my ability, quite often the quality of the materials reflects on the finished project, I will endeavour to keep the quality of work to the same standard whatever the materials used. "You get what you pay for" unfortunately has a ring of truth to it especially when your choosing materials, rest assured the quality of work will always remain the same. Cleanliness tidiness is high on my list prioritys as well as the safety of co-workers.

Insured and Guaranteed

Rest assured I posses Public Liability with a £2,000,000 indemnity and a CDM Health and Safety Certificate.

All the materials used come with a manufacture guarantee, which vary in length from 1 year to 25 years and over. Due to the nature of wood it's difficult to guarantee it won't shrink, swell, split and so on. We will do our best to choose well seasoned timbers for all work and in some cases will need to acclimatise the wood in your property for a period of time prior to fitting. Moisture & Heat has a detrimental effect on timber once fitted, the client or our selves when requested must ensure that they have a decorator on hand to seal the wood to maintain its stability.
